Hi. I'm here to share my Cute As A Button Blog Challenge card. Please stop by to join in the fun of this wonderful challenge!! This month (August Challenge) the theme of the challenge is Anything Goes with optional theme of Fun In The Sun. This is my inspiration card for this challenge I've used this beautiful Cute As A Button digital stamp called Summer Reading.
I printed her out nice and big so I could colour in the details nicely on this beautiful image. I chose to colour her with Touch Five Markers and pencils. I computer generated the sentiment. For the background used green patterned washi tape and stuck it around the edge of the card overlapping the corner to add extra interest to the card. I feel if I've got a big image this is the best way to add a nice pattern background without feeling like I've lost a lot of the pattern behind the image. To finish of I added a layered flower and leaf to the top of the card.
