LS Sailor Girls Origami Boat Card

Hello!! It's a lovely day today and I'm back to share my latest card. I really hope that this unusual shaped card will inspire you to give it a try. I've made this one for the new challenge at Lemon Shortbread Challenge BlogChallenge #46 this is a Anything Goes Challenge. It would be lovely if you could join in. With this challenge you have the chance to win some Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps. I've made my card using the gorgeous Sailor Dress Sunflower Girl digital stamp. You can find lots of beautiful images over at the Lemon Shortbread Store.

I've never come across a card of this design before so I'll explain it, it's a origami boat shaped card. I used a two fold origami design on card and decided it would make the perfect base for this pretty image. I've coloured using her Touch Five Markers and watercolour Pencils. I fussy cut her out and stuck her standing on a box on the boats sail. Then I made a buntin, a life float and cut some birds out which I've stick to acetate. The bottom of the boat I made by scoring brown card and running a Distress Ink pad along it to make the wood effect. To finish of I used my Brother Scan N Cut to make the anchor and steering wheel. The sentiment is from a Clearly Besotted Stamp sets.

I'll be adding this card to the Lemon Shortbread Facebook Group.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges

Thank you for visiting my blog today.
