Racing By Doggy

Hello. Last night I made this interactive boys card that I'd like to share with you. The image is called Dog on a scooter - Vrooming by... This is a Gerda Steiner Designs digital stamp. Click here to find all of her current digital stamps in her online shop. If you like the look of this guy it's well worth a look there are some right cuties and some freebie digital stamps are currently available.

I've coloured the image using Spectrum Noir Markers and shaded using pencils. I created all the background elements the Sun, trees and hedge by drawing, watercolouring, cutting and sticking. I used a Provo Craft embossing folder to add texture to the road in the background. So the reason I said it was a interactive card is because the scooter spins. I used a brad/split pin to loosely attach the scooter to the hedge. I added three layers of foam pads. Two behind the hedge and one behind the scooter. This way you can get a nice easy movement in the spinning motion. I wrote the sentiment to make sure I could fit it on. I'm super happy about how this card worked out. I think any little boy would love it... Maybe I'll save for one of my Nephew's birthday's.

I'd like to enter this card into the Gerda Steiner Designs Share Your Designs #19 Challenge which can be found here.
This card I think fits the Inky Impressions Challenge blog theme beautifully. It's called All about the boys. If you'd like to join in with this challenge too click here.
I'd also like to enter this card into the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog. I'm hoping that this card fits within the theme. I think as the scooter spins that it's a fun card that would entertain children. So this is why I think it fits in with this Humorous Card theme. You can join in with the fun here.
Here is a picture of the card.
Another picture from a angle.
Here I have made a quick video. This is my very first video clip. Just to show you how the scooter moves. I hope that you like my creation.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog today.
