LS Butterfly Scar Notebook Cover Project

Hello. I'm excited to share a project I've made for the Lemon Shortbread Blog Challenge. This creation is for the new Challenge #98 which is an Anything Goes Challenge with the chance to win some fantastic Lemon Shortbread digital stamps. On this creation I've used this gorgeous image named Butterfly Scar Digital Colouring Page designed by Lemon Shortbread.

I printed her nice and big. Then coloured her hair using purple ball point biro pen, her skin base colour using Touch Five Markers and the rest of her using water coloured pencils. I stuck the image on a lined note book cover. Then I embellished with hand made, hand coloured layered up flowers. I die cut and coloured some letters to create the wording. I added ribbons down the side of the note book.

This is a wonderful way to discover new companies. This month's sponsor is called Little Blue Button Stamps. I got the opportunity to create with this adorable digital stamp called Colouring Sophie

CAAB Angelices Wedding Castle Card

Hi. I'm happy to share a pink fairytale castle shaped wedding card I've designed and created. I added a gorgeous Cute As A Button digital stamp called Angelice - The Bride Of Christ to my card.

I chose to colour her with Touch Five Markers and pencils. After I fussy cut her out. I made this card shape with my Brother Scan and Cut canvas software using lots of shapes. I've only used one layer and cut out several pieces which I drew round and shaded using watercoloured pencils. The two side of this gatefold card design didn't quite reach together completely so I stuck lace on the centre of the door to close the gap. I embellished this card with gems and pre-made roses.

LS Interactive Bubbly Water Mermaid Relax Card

Hi. I'm so happy to share a fun interactive card I've made for the Lemon Shortbread Blog Challenge. This card is for the new Challenge #98 which is an Anything Goes Challenge with the chance to win some fantastic Lemon Shortbread digital stamps. On this card I've used this gorgeous digital stamp called Mermaid Relax designed by Lemon Shortbread.

I coloured her hair using purple ball point biro pen, the rest of her using Touch Five Markers and water coloured pencils for the sea background. I ran distress ink across some card to make a wooden effect background.

For the outside of the card I die cut into both the front of the card and background layer of card stock. I filled clear, plastic zip lock bags with hair gel in leaving some air bubbles in. But making sure to push the gel to all corners of the bag to get most of the extra air out of the bag. I stuck them around all sides to the base of the front of the card. I added foam tape to the back of the wooden effect layer of card. This technique gives the impression that the bag is full of movable bubbly water. It's such a fun technique to try and all the children love to play with them.

I then embellished the outside of my card with a matching die cut frame around the gel hole, a anchor die cut and some die cut foliage and flowers. For the inside I added a frame around her to look like a easel.

Here is a quick video of my card in action.
