LS Flowers and Curls Girl Card

Hi everyone. I'm here to share my Lemon Shortbread design team inspiration card for the new Lemon Shortbread BlogChallenge #71. It's another beautiful day where I am in the world. I hope it is for you too. So I'm back today to share a card I've made using a beautiful Lemon Shortbread digital stamp called Flowers and Curls Girl. I don't really do portrait images often but I loved her hair and thought she'd be a nice image to practise my hair colouring on. I coloured her in my garden and being outside inspired me to make her hair a unusual colour of purple/blue. I coloured her using Touch Five Markers as the base colour and I shaded using watercoloured pencils.

I used a square shaped die to cut her out and layered her on top of a fancy frame die cut.. I'm not sure who's dies they are because I inherited them. I used polkadot background paper. Then I embellished the card using a material flower and feathers to add extra texture.

We'd love it if you stopped by this time's Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog to join this Anything Goes Challenge with the chance to win some gorgeous Lemon Shortbread images. I'll be posting this card on the Lemon Shortbread Facebook Group where anyone is welcome to share any creations using Lemon Shortbread digital stamps.

SG Winter Peggy Card

Hello. I'm excited to share with you a Christmas/winter card. I've made this card using a cute digital stamp called Winter Peggy 1 And 2. She is one of Sasayaki Glitter fabulous Digital Stamp in two versions (with and without glasses. ) Isn't she beautiful!! If you love her as much as I do there are lots of Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps to suit all occasions over in the shop. There is also the amazing Sasayaki Glitter Blog/Challenge Blog with fabulous creations from the Design Team. Here is a link to the current Sasayaki Glitter Blog Challenge

I've coloured her using Touch Five Markers and to add more depth I've shaded with pencils. The bobble on her hat has a small amour of glitter on it. The background paper is a handmade splatter paint background. I wanted to give the look that she's getting ready for outside winter fun. So I added a embossed folder of winter trees which I watercoloured and added a small amount of Rangers Icicle Stickles down one side of each tree. I framed it with a die cut frame which I coloured with glitter paint. I then used a die cut flower layered up with a yellow gem in the middle and die cut holly to embellish the card.

I'll be posting my card on the Sasayaki Glitter Facebook Group. This is were you are welcome to share any creations using Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps. This is also where you can find the Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Facebook Challenge

WA3 Flower Delight Card

Hi. I'm cutting it close with my monthly Outlaws Progressive Challenge card this month. I've used this super cute digital stamp called Flower Delight created by We Are 3 who is sponsoring the challenge this month. I decided this month to make a fun, brightly and colourful card.

I've coloured this adorable image using Touch Five Markers and shaded pencils. I've used Glossy Accent on her eyes and the ladybirds. I added some die cut hand coloured flowers with gems in the middle of them and a bow to finish of the card. The sentiment is from a Peachy Keens Stamp Set called PKSC-06 June 2012.

CDD Cat Coffee Mug

Hello. I'm here with a card I've made using a cute Craftin Desert Diva's digital stamp called Cat Coffee Mug. I coloured the image using Touch Five Markers and pencil. I computer generated the sentiment. I created the background paper by watering down Vintage Photo Distress Ink and dipping the bottom of a mug in it lots of times. I repeated this several times to layer up the colours. I used recycled corrugated card to add texture like a cat scratcher.
