GSD Thank You Pen Pal Bear

Hello again. I'm here with a adorable little bear image made by Gerda Steiner Designs called Pen Pal Bear . Isn't he sooo cute!! I got this guy free for the Gerda Steiner Designs Monthly Progressive Challenge . If you'd like to join in click the link to find the challenge and the rules. He did come with a sentiment but I didn't use it for this card. So I decided to turn this image into a Thank You card for my daughters Teacher. I coloured the image using coloured ball point biro pens. I fussy cut him out and stick him on a die cut frame posing as a white board frame. I used Wild Honey Distress Ink watered down to colour the background edges. Then I added small flower stamps using Design A Tree Stamp Set created by Clearly Besotted Stamp . The butterflies and leaves are also from Clearly Besotted Stamp sets. I embellished with a 3D flower I created using a Make & Create stamp and die set sold at The Works . My 7 year old daughter wrote the personalised wor...

Hummingbird N Morning Glory Flowers Delightful Day Tag

Hello. I'm back with a gift tag that has been made for the  Outlaws Monthly Progressive Challenge . This month's image has been made by Createful Hearts Digis and is called Hummingbird n Morning Glory Flowers . This is the Createful Hearts Blog . I've coloured this image using my new Docrafts Artiste Watercolour Pens. I'm not sure if I completely like them or not yet. I had a few problems watering them down but I think that was due to the card not being watercolouring card. I used some shape dies to create a nice frame around the image. The sentiment is from a Clearly Besotted stamp set called Design A Tree. To finish it off I added  some ribbon, a premade satin rose and a premade matching bow. I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges Outlaws April Monthly Progressive Challenge Di's Digi Designs Challenge - Use Something Digital (the image is a digital stamp) Penny's Challenge - #326 Anything Goes Crafty Friends Cha...
