LS Shopping Mod Girl Christmas Card

Hi. I've made this Christmas card for the Lemon Shortbread Blog Challenge. This card is for Challenge #77 which is an Anything Goes Challenge with the chance to win some beautiful Lemon Shortbread digital stamps. I made a card using this lovely Lemon Shortbread digital stamp called Shopping Mod GirlI coloured her using Touch Five Markers and I shaded pencils.

I fussy cut the girl and stuck her on top of layered up paper. On the base I embossed blue paper. I used another embossing folder in a completely different way, by inking it up. Then I stamped it on white card to leave the pattern on the card. I used a small strip of green embossed paper (which was a left over piece from a different project.) I stuck her down using foam tape and added a sentiment to finish of the card.

I hope that you like my card. I'll be posting my card on the Lemon Shortbread Facebook Group where you are welcome to post your Lemon Shortbread creations with us.

I'd like to share my card into the following challenges

CHD Ms Scarecrow with squirrel Autumn Card

Hello. I'm stopping by to share a autumn inspired card. I created this card for this month's (September) Outlaws Progressive Challenge. Every month this challenge give me an amazing opportunity to use a digital stamp from a different company. It a fantastic way to discover new companies. This month's sponsor is Creatful Hearts Design's with this wonderful image called Ms Scarecrow with squirrels. This is a link to her Facebook Group and here's a link to the Createful Hearts Design's Blog

I've coloured the image using Touch Five Markers and pencils. I made the background paper using plain brown paper which I scored and used distress ink lightly applied to the paper to make the score lines darker giving the appearance of wood. I used a bunch of die cuts (leaves, swirls, sunflowers and frame shape die cuts.) I coloured the die cuts using pencils and watercolours.
